The OSU-Tulsa library has one laptop computer and two tablet PC's available for faculty and staff checkout for conferences or meetings. The computer is equipped with Microsoft Office, phone modem, network card, network cabling, exchangeable CD drive, USB connectors for external devices. To reserve call the circulation desk at 594-8130, forty-eight hours in advance. Circulation staff will pull books off the shelves and place them on hold in the library for your convenience, just phone us with the call numbers-594-8130. Search our journals collection by using our Journals by Title link through our homepage. This index includes every journal the Tulsa campus owns physically and electronically linking you to the appropriate database. The Tulsa campus provides a leisure reading collection of current and popular fiction, non-fiction, biography, business and self-help books as well as audio books in tape and CD form. If there is an audio book you would like, requests can be made through Lynn Wallace 594-8451 or lynn.wallace@okstate.edu We encourage you to bring your graduate assistant in for a library orientation. Have your graduate assistant learn to become a highly trained assistant researcher. Graduate assistants can order and pick up interlibrary loan materials for you as well. About the book catalog: You can look at your library account through our catalog and renew your books as well. On the blue bar at the top of the library catalog page, log in using your Campus Wide ID and then click patron for your information. The physical materials collection is continually growing and the catalog has a new books tab that can be searched by date, title, call number or location. Simultaneous searching is available through the catalog as well. So you can search both the Stillwater , OSU-Tulsa and other area catalogs at the same time. To search click on database (blue button) and choose which libraries you would like to include. A search screen will come up including all the libraries you selected. The library provides over 4,000 electronic books and several reference titles through NetLibrary and Ebrary. Ebooks in the catalog are designated by [electronic resource] after the title. The first time you use Netlibrary you must create an account within the library. Searching for video and DVD items is easy! In advanced search type the keyword in the first space and type “videorecording” in the second space.
