Books and Ebooks:

Search the Library Catalog for 110,000+ print books and 40,000+ electronic books online (searchable by content notes and chapter headings). Search for new books, media, and location. Renew library books online, check patron information online, and place holds.

Access 35,000+ electronic journal titles in full text from you office or home PC. Find specific journal in the Journals A-Z list. Access the appropriate database for individual articles.

Quick Search:

Shorten your research time by simultaneously searching across several databases at once using a powerful new search tool. If you don't know where to start in your research this is a great portal to find quick results from a myriad of sources. The
Quick Search link is right under the library's logo on the homepage. Ask library staff for a demonstration.

Test Collection:

The OSU-Tulsa Library has a limited number of educational and psychological tests available for faculty to use with
their students. Special restrictions apply; check with the Circulation Desk.

Subject Guides:

Encourage your students to take advantage of online subject guides with references to books, encyclopedias, online electronic documents, websites, and pre-selected databases. If you have suggestions for content on these pages contact Mary Hujsak at (918 594-8453) or mary.hujsak@okstate.edu.

Purchase Suggestions:

We welcome your participation in our Collection Development Program. Contact your Library Liaison or Collection Development Librarian Lynn Wallace (918 594-8451) or e-mail lynn.wallace@okstate.edu. Click on the Purchase Request Form to order books, journals, and other materials.

SERVICES

Remote Access:

Journal database research from home. Go to the library home page http://www.osu-tulsa.okstate.edu/library, then click
on "Off-Campus Access". Log in with your O-Key Account (O-Key e-mail address and O-Key password), then proceed
to Databases by Subject.

Reserves:

Reserves | Electronic Reserves | Student Access to Electronic Reserves

Course materials of all forms can be placed on physical or electronic reserve for student use. Electronic reserves greatly benefits those professors not using Desire2Learn or Webpages for course content. Call Lynn Wallace (918 594-8130) or lynn.wallace@okstate.edu

Interlibrary Loan:

The OSU-Tulsa Library can quickly obtain materials not available locally via Interlibrary Loan. Submit electronic requests using ILLIAD from the library homepage. For more information call Phil Parker at (918 594-8138) or phil.parker@okstate.edu

Document Delivery:

Although many articles are available online, many in our collection are available only in paper. Any print article or book chapter owned by the Library will be made available electronically by request. Entire books can be pulled in advance and placed "on hold" at the Circulation Desk in the OSU-Tulsa Library. Document Delivery FAQs.

Reciprocal Library Borrowing:

Reciprocal Library borrowing privileges are available to faculty from any of the
participating institutions:

Oklahoma State University
OU Health Sciences Center, Oklahoma City
OU Law Library
University of Oklahoma
University of Tulsa

The policies and procedures of the lending library will apply.

OK Share:

In addition, OSU-Tulsa Library belongs to the OK Share Program which allows you to use and check out materials from other libraries throughout Oklahoma.

Citation Managers:

Citation creation and management has never been easier with Refworks, EndNote or Reference Manager. Available for use through the OSU-Tulsa homepage or for download.

Library Instruction:

We offer Library Instruction i.e. research skills training for classes or small groups. Librarians demonstrate traditional and electronic research techniques, database searching, Internet research, APA / MLA style bibliographies, and more. Faculty Research Assistance:

Contact and set up an appointment with Tom Thorisch at 918 594-8146 or tom.thorisch@okstate.edu for individual
faculty research assistance, including database searching and tutorials, setting up search alerts and table of content notifications and special in-depth research tasks.

Laptop & Tablet PC:

Going to a conference? Need a laptop or tablet pc for a presentation or to take notes? The library has 3 available for checkout to OSU-Tulsa faculty and staff for professional purposes. Reservations at least one week in advance is highly recommended. To make a reservation please call the circulation desk at (918 594-8130).
