Student Access to Electronic Reserves

Electronic Reserves allows you to retrieve course related material on the Web anywhere they have Internet access.

All items are username and password protected! You must have the username and password your professor will provide.

ADOBE ACROBAT & MICROSOFT POWERPOINT

For most reserves you must have Adobe Acrobat version 6.0 or higher installed. Download a free version of the reader at www.adobe.com

If opening a powerpoint presentation you must have powerpoint or powerpoint reader installed. Download a free version of the reader at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads

OSU-TULSA COMPUTER ACCOUNT

WHEN ON TULSA CAMPUS: You must have a username and password to logon to the library system on campus. Obtain your account from the Computing Web Page: www.okey.okstate.edu and choose account management. E-Reserves works without your OKEY account.

ACCESSING E-RESERVES

1. Go to the OSU-Tulsa homepage http://www.osu-tulsa.okstate.edu/library

2. Click on the Search Course Reserves link under Student Services on the OSU-Tulsa homepage.

3. Using the drop down arrows, select your instructor's last name and/or your

course number with description, then click search.

4. Find the Electronic Reserves for your course and click on the link into the page if needed.

5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the link next to “E-Items” (highlighted in orange)

6. A pop-up window will appear asking for the class username and password (this is NOT your network log-on but a username and password specific to the course).

7. The electronic reserves page for this class will load. To open any of the documents, just click on the title of the item highlighted in blue.

8. To Print: Select File, Print and select your printer, click OK.
