The Oklahoma State University-Tulsa Public Safety Department is a police agency with six full-time and ten part-time employees. As Oklahoma State University-Tulsa continues to grow, more full-time officers will be added for the safety of the OSU-Tulsa community.

Philosophy And Service

The Oklahoma State University -Tulsa Public Safety Department is dedicated to enhancing the opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to participate in the educational experience by providing a safe, protected, and orderly environment. The safety of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors is our primary importance.

The OSU-Tulsa Public Safety Department seeks participation by all members of the OSU-Tulsa family in our community policing efforts. We want to provide you with direct contact with officers and personalized services as we enforce laws of the land and the University's rules and regulations.

As a service organization, the department offers a full range of police resources, including preventive patrols (24 hours), criminal investigations, crime prevention, facilities security analysis, event planning, and parking management and enforcement.
