Our office is here to help you locate the financial assistance programs for which you may qualify. Aid can be in the form of scholarships, grants, work-study, loan programs, or any combination of the four. Much of the aid is made available through federal, state, and institutional programs. A number of programs have limited funding, so it is important to apply early.
We understand the importance of financial aid in helping you achieve your educational dreams, and we look forward to working with you as you pursue your education at Oklahoma State University - Tulsa.
Are You An OSU-Tulsa Student Taking Classes at Tulsa Community College?
Good news! The Department of Education allows students enrolled in classes at both Tulsa Community College (TCC) and OSU-Tulsa during the same semester to receive a federal financial aid award based on their combined hours through a process called a consortium agreement. OSU-Tulsa is the institution that will award federal financial aid for consortium students.
To qualify, the TCC courses must apply to the current OSU-Tulsa degree program. The student must request that their OSU-Tulsa Academic Advisor complete and submit the consortium agreement on their behalf.
Process:
Contact your OSU-Tulsa Academic Advisor to discuss degree program, enrollment, and any lower division requirements needed.
Contact your OSU-Tulsa Financial Aid Office to see if you meet the requirements needed to receive financial aid through the consortium agreement process.
Enroll in your TCC classes, print out a copy of your TCC detailed class schedule, and make payment arrangements with TCC.
Obtain a TCC Consortium Agreement Information Form from your OSU-Tulsa Financial Aid Advisor.
Return the completed TCC Consortium Agreement Information Form with attached TCC class schedule to your OSU-Tulsa Academic Advisor. A new consortium agreement form is required each semester.
Eligibility:
You must be fully admitted to OSU and seeking an OSU degree.
Your TCC classes must be required for your OSU degree.
You must be seeking federal financial aid through OSU; you must cancel any federal financial aid being offered by TCC (Scholarships and tuition waivers do not apply).
You are fully responsible for all expenses incurred at TCC and must follow TCC payment policies and deadlines. For questions regarding payment at TCC, contact TCC's Bursar Office at 918-595-7136.
You must notify the OSU-Tulsa Financial Aid Office should you drop or withdraw from classes at TCC. Repayment of funds received may be required.
