African American Student Association (AASA)
AASA’s purpose is to provide unity to African-American students through programs designed to address educational and social concerns. OSU-Tulsa’s AASA chapter has co-sponsored events such as Gospel Fest and panel discussions. For information, contact Emonica Reagan at 594-8234.
Alpha Eta Rho
Alpha Eta Rho is a collegiate fraternity founded to bring together those students having a common interest in the field of aviation. Alpha Eta Rho serves to actively associate interested students of aviation with leaders and executives in the industry. For more information please contact Fred Hansen at 594-8406.
American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
The OSU-Tulsa student chapter of ASME was established to provide an opportunity for students to begin their careers by joining a professional engineering society and to support OSU’s Mechanical Engineering program. For information, contact Jeremy Morton at 594-8380.
Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society
Chi Sigma Iota’s mission is to promote scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership and excellence in counseling, and to recognize high attainment in the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence in the profession of counseling. Requirements for membership include a minimum GPA of 3.5 and the completion of 10 hours in the counseling program. Candidates will be contacted with a letter of invitation for membership. College Republicans
The purpose of College Republicans is to provide students the opportunity to participate in local, state, and national public affairs through various volunteer activities, by attending political events, and by hosting speakers on campus to include various elected officials and/or community leaders. We belong to the Oklahoma Federation of College Republicans and College Republican National Committee. Members will have the opportunity to attend state and national conferences and vie for elected positions within such state and national organizations. The club will encourage students to become involved in their local home communities as well as state and national public policy affairs. Contact Angelyn Holmes at 594-8147 to join.
Educational Psychology Student Society (EPS2)
The purpose of the Ed Psych Student Society is to promote academic excellence through networking and collaborating while addressing the needs of a community intellectually engaged in psychology. Hispanic Student Association (HSA)
The Hispanic Student Association Is focused on promoting awareness of Hispanic culture and to foster the development of social and educational opportunities for Hispanic students at OSU. HSA encourages superior scholarship, promotes leadership opportunities for its members, and participation in community activities which enhance the Hispanic tradition. Human Development and Family Science Club (HDFS)
The HDFS Club’s purpose is to promote a better understanding of the value and total scope of HDFS and other related areas and to provide opportunities for students to assume leadership responsibilities. For information, contact Dr. Mike Merten at 594-8318.
Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
IEEE promotes leadership, social interaction, exchange of ideas, teamwork projects, mentorship and service to its members, while emphasizing knowledge growth and professional development. Interested students should contact Dr. Stephen Bell at bells@okstate.edu or 594-8279.
Master’s in Business Administration Association (MBAA)
The Master’s in Business Administration Association is focused on building relationships between MBA students and business leaders in the community. They are focused on community involvement and networking. For more information please contact Dr. Morris at 594-8258.
Omicron Tau Theta (OTΘ)
OTT is the graduate honor society for the profession of vocational, technical, workforce, and career education. Professionals actively engaged in the field of vocational-technical education and other persons specifically and affirmatively committed to career and technical education are eligible for membership in OTT. Graduate students majoring in career and technical education who meet stringent academic standards are also eligible. Phi Beta Lambda
Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) isn't just another student group - it gives members that opportunity to learn, travel, and grow as a business professional. Employers are looking for students with cutting-edge skills. PBL gives members the chance to gain these skills and prepares them for the "real-world" after college. Student Government Association
The student government association represents the student body to the administration and also program some activities for the campus. They are a diverse group of people representing all ages and backgrounds who are involved and want to be leaders. Members must be in good standing with the college and maintain at least 2.O GPA. Tau Sigma National Honor Society
