Eileen St. Pierre currently holds a joint appointment at Oklahoma State University as Personal Finance State Specialist in the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service and Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Science. She received her B.S. in Finance and Economics, as well as her Ph.D. in Finance, from Florida State University. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). Her recent research has focused on trends in the reverse mortgage market, the use of state partnership plans in financing long-term care, the use of credit cards by older adults in Oklahoma, and program evaluation. Dr. St. Pierre has presented workshops on retirement, estate planning, financial recordkeeping, and investing. She writes a monthly financial column and has been sourced in over 60 news releases since joining OSU.
