News Alert:

Pre-Law

The preparation offered by the College of Arts and Sciences at OSU provides motivated students the educational opportunities, extracurricular experiences and personal assistance needed to become successful law school applicants. The term “pre-law” refers to a student’s intention to pursue law school, not to any prescribed major or curriculum. Because legal careers are varied and call for differing skills, law schools do not recommend any one major. The Official Guide to U.S. Law Schools, published annually by the Law School Admission Council, states “a broad liberal-arts curriculum is the preferred preparation for law school.”
