OSU-Tulsa’s Helmerich Research Center provides opportunities for students to receive a world-class engineering education at an affordable price in a state-of-the-art research facility in Tulsa. Students get valuable, hands-on experience working with innovative faculty on life-changing projects that create new technologies and contribute to Oklahoma’s economy.

The Helmerich Research Center houses laboratories for faculty and graduate students who will develop the next generation of composites and materials used by many Oklahoma companies. Research in the Helmerich Research Center focuses on material science with four strategic research and technology development areas important to the future of the Tulsa region, including nanotechnology, biosciences, energy and aerospace. The facility includes specialized laboratories, a clean room, an imaging suite, advanced information technology equipment, faculty offices and two seminar rooms.
