Specific curricular information

The following are some of the graduate courses in materials science and engineering for the M.S. and Ph.D. programs. In addition, new courses may be added depending on the interests of new faculty members recruited in the next five years. Emphasis will be on interdisciplinary research from various fields of engineering and physical sciences. A large number of materials-related courses are currently taught in several departments at the college of engineering to satisfy both the core and elective course requirements for the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees.
