In order to meet the needs of faculty, staff, and students, we are pleased to announce we will be upgrading to the Microsoft Office 2007 suite this summer. Office 2007 has a different look than your current version, but you will find that it is very intuitive and simple to use.
Training opportunities will begin on June 15th and continue June 24th. Additional support options will be made available to meet any specific needs. Follow the links below to see training information or to sign up for training.

What’s Different?
Many of our customers already use Office 2007 at home or elsewhere and have discovered the simplicity of the new ribbon menu interface.
The menu ribbon interface has a significantly different look and feel and can be a bit overwhelming at first. With practice, you’ll quickly realize that access to commonly used features and options has been simplified.
Customer Success
Our primary focus during the roll out will be to ensure that we provide every training and support opportunity for all our customers to make sure they have a successful transition, and to limit any reduction in productivity. It will be up to you to take advantage of the online and/or classroom training opportunities to ensure the upgrade does not cause avoidable hardship.
What to Expect
Tulsa and CHS Campuses:
Beginning June 15th you will see a dialog box related to the Office 2007 upgrade at login.
CHS Clinics:
Beginning June 24th you will see a dialog box related to the Office 2007 upgrade at login.
This dialog will contain information regarding what to expect during the upgrade. If you have questions, do not have the time to proceed with the upgrade, or need to delay for another reason, simply click cancel and the box will close. If you are ready to proceed simply agree to the information and accept the upgrade by clicking OK.
We suggest you pick a time to perform the upgrade that will be most suitable to your workload and the needs of your office. Beginning the process as you leave for lunch or even as you leave for the day so it can complete while you are away is an excellent option. If you choose to install while away, please remember to lock your machine to protect your account from unauthorized use. On July 14th, the ability to choose when the upgrade occurs will be removed and the upgrade will install automatically the next time you log in. This will ensure that all computers on campus are using the same Office version and will reduce support and interoperability concerns. We strongly suggest that you perform the install at a time of your choice rather than suffer the inconvenience of the forced upgrade on July 14th.
