
StaffThe OSU-Tulsa Learning Services Center is currently staffed with a writing tutor and a math tutor. These tutors have advanced degrees in their fields of expertise and experience in both tutoring and teaching at the college level . Kim ReyesKim Reyes graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1995 with a B.S. in Secondary Education with a specialization in English and again in 1998 with an M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language . Kim has been teaching English since 1995 in a variety of educational settings and also worked as a program coordinator at Language System's International College of English for four years. She has taught English not only in Oklahoma but also in Los Angeles for three years and in Mexico for nearly two years. In January 2004, Kim began working as a writing consultant at the OSU-Tulsa Writing Center and became the coordinator of OSU-Tulsa's Learning Services Center in August 2004. She is also an instructor at the OSU-Tulsa campus. Kevin LigginsKevin Liggins is a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. Kevin graduated in 1991 with a B.S. in Accounting and in 1999 with an M.S. in College Teaching with an emphasis in Mathematics. Kevin has been teaching mathematics at the college level since 1995 and at the secondary level since 1997. He has taught mathematics courses at Rogers State University in Claremore, Oklahoma and at Tulsa Community College. He currently teaches algebra and geometry at Tulsa Central High School. In the near future, Kevin plans to pursue a Ph.D. in statics or mathematics. |
