A full-text database provides full-text access to periodical, journal, and magazine articles. In most case all you need to do is print out the article. From the Library Webpage, click on Journals and then click on General or a Broad Subject. Each database is designed so that you can usually search by keyword, subject, author, title or article, and/or title or the periodical. You also can limit by date as well as other parameters.
DATABASES
An index database provides a citation to the article, i.e. title of
article, author, journal title, volume and issue number, page number, and
date. You should check other databases for possible full-text coverage. You
may need to consult the Catalog or Journals by Title to determine if the journal is owned
by OSU-Tulsa Library in paper or microfiche.

Journals are considered to be more scholarly in focus than magazines and are often peer-reviewed. They may be available electronically full-text, in print, in microfiche or in any combination of these three formats. The following list of journals is only a selective list of available titles. Note that the dates of electronic journals are subject to change due to publisher and database vendor availability. Dates of coverage for print and microfiche journals can be found in the OSU - Tulsa Library Catalog or Journals by Title.
Specialized websites are excellent
sources of information. Commercial, governmental, and nonprofit organizations,
i.e. universities, associations, societies, libraries, etc. maintain websites.
These websites provide an overview of the field, historical information, current
trends, statistics, publish a newsletter or journal, identify recommended
publications in the field, advertise workshops and conferences, provide information
on career opportunities, and supply contact names, etc.
