The Oklahoma Center for Poets and Writers is the permanent sponsor of the Oklahoma Writers Hall of Fame.

The Oklahoma Center for Poets and Writers, in cooperation with the OSU-Tulsa library, maintains a literary archives of original manuscripts by Oklahoma authors. The most extensive holdings are the Michael Wallis collection, the William Bernhardt collection, and Carolyn G. Hart collection, all of which contain edited versions of selected manuscripts in addition to the original drafts. Certain restrictions apply to ensure the preservation of materials.

Books, videos, and dvds can be found in the OSU - Tulsa Library Online Catalog by author, title, keyword, or subject heading. Keyword searching allows you to AND terms together to produce a more focused list of available books. You may want to check the Library of Congress Subject Headings Reference Z695 .Z8 L524 for a comprehensive list of terms to search in the Online Catalog. Once you have identified a book you want, note the location and entire call number to identify where the book is located in the Library. We also have approximately 24,000 full-text electronic books. These can be found through the Online Catalog or by going to the Library Webpage and clicking on eJournals and eBooks. To view these books remotely, you must set up an account in the Library.

Books In Print with Reviews Database - This is a database of books that are currently In-Print. Out-of-print books are noted as well. It is a good source to verify bibliographic information and to see what books have been published on a specific subject.
