What kind of information is included?  Entries include a statement of the purpose, reliability, the source (journal article citation), and a cumulative subject index.  Serves as a guide to unpublished experimental mental measures appearing in journals (tests that are not currently marketed commercially).

What kind of tests is included?  The tests are arranged in a 24-category system and are grouped according to function and content, noting purpose, format, psychometric information (where available), and related research. The newest category, Adjustment: Vocation; identifies articles addressing burnout, vocational maturity, job-related stress, job frustration, and job satisfaction.

What kind of information is included?   Listing of tests that can be found in journals.  The tests themselves are not commercially published therefore, no reliability and validity is given.  Gives related research.

What kind of tests is included?  Many different subject areas.  Describes basic test properties and identifies additional sources from which technical information concerning an instrument can be obtained.

What kind of information is included?  A free searchable catalog/database of research datasets, instruments and software relevant to health services research, behavioral and social sciences, and public health.

What kind of tests is included?   Most records include a purpose and a description of the tool (i.e., datasets, instruments, and software), official dataset or instrument titles, source and source Internet links, methods used for data collection, population and geographic regions, unit of analysis, sample design, variables, references, related tools, and contact and vendor information.

Measures for psychological assessment: a guide to 3,000 original sources and their applications Reference BF698.5 .C45 1975

What kind of information is included? A bibliography of unpublished/experimental measures appearing in psychology and sociology journals between the years of 1960 and1970.

What kind of tests is included?   Provides author, test title, and basic bibliographic information.  Includes some normative and psychometric information and citations to studies that used the instrument.

Measures of social psychological attitudes Reference BF698.5 .R739 1973

What kind of information is included?   Approximately 300 attitude scales are included for which a description, brief evaluation, source, and either a sample or the whole measure is provided.

What kind of tests is included? Lists brief descriptions of tests, their purposes, past population samples, validity and reliability information, and lists of references.  Includes sample questions from, or copies of, measures and scoring instructions.

Mental Measurements Yearbook Reference BF431 .M46  Can give a lengthy review of commercially available tests including reliability and validity.  We have all the editions including the first in 1938. Also known as Buros.

What kind of information is included?  Provides descriptive information, references, and critical reviews of more than 4,000 commercially available tests.  Indexed by title, classified subject, authors and reviewers, and score.

What kind of tests is included?   Includes tests that are new and revised since the previous yearbook or are widely generated and have 20 or more references in literature. Tests are listed alphabetically by title. Each entry provides descriptive information, such as the test name, intended population, publication dates, forms and prices, test author, and publisher.

Mental Measurements Yearbook  - Online index to the Mental Measurements WITH full text of the review starting with the 9 th edition (1985) to the present.   It gives reliability and validity of commercial available tests.  It is available by the producer EBSCO to all Oklahoma State University Tulsa campus students.  

What kind of information is included? Includes descriptive information about tests of educational skills, personality, vocational aptitude, psychology, and related areas.  Evaluative reviews are provided for many tests in the yearbook.

What kind of tests is included? Contains full text information about and reviews of all English-language standardized tests covering educational skills, personality, vocational aptitude, psychology, and related areas as included in the printed, Mental Measurements Yearbook.

Test Critiques Reference BF176 .T419 (1994 - Present) Can give a lengthy review of commercially available tests including reliability and validity.

What kind of information is included?   A mulit-volume set of tests, listed alphabetically.  This includes psychometric information such as reliability, validity, and norm development. The tri-part entry for each test includes an Introduction, Practical Applications/Uses, and Technical Aspects, followed by a critique.

What kind of tests is included? Tests are chosen for inclusion based on research on the most frequently used psychological, educational, and business-related tests. Selections are also made based on surveys of professional organizations regarding the tests they would most like to see critiqued.  Each test is described in detail and includes sections on practical applications and technical aspects as well as a critique.

What kind of tests is included?  Test reviews are evaluations of the tests and not the actual tests themselves.  Advises to purchase the actual test materials through the test publisher.

Based on ethical standards, consultation with professionals, and publishers' qualifications for purchase, we have three levels of review: open, limited and restricted. Students with OSU or LU faculty signature may use limited and restricted tests with established guidelines. Call 918-594-8130 for any clarification.   OSU Tulsa will not Interlibrary loan tests to any person or institution.
