O-Key Assistance

O-KEY (Orange Key) COMPUTER ACCOUNT ACTIVATION
for First Time Users

On Campus :
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del, type " osut " in Username box, press Enter
[From Home : Access O-Key Account at: www.okey.okstate.edu]

At this screen:


Click "O-Key Account Activation"
Enter requested personal information:
1) the first two letter of your last name
2) the last five (5) digits of your Social Security Number
3) and your birth date.

At the next screen:
1) Choose a generic password or make your own password (8-16 characters): at least 1 UPPERCASE letter, at least 1 lower case , at least 1 number re-type and
2) Select and answer a challenge question
3) Provide contact information
4) Select your OSU email address from the options. Example: joe.little@okstate.edu
5) Select OSU email address or alternate email as forwarding address
6) Get email confirmation for the O-Key account.
7) You're ready to go!

Tips and Help:

O-Key Account Activation provides: personal profile, contact information, OSU email address, challenge question and answer, and user name (and 500MB storage on student server).

Before activating the account, create a Password (because of time-out) Example: cUdede1965:

PASSWORD must have: . at least 1 UPPERCASE letter, at least 1 lowercase letter, at least 1 number. 8 - 16 characters . NO dictionary words . NO special characters or spaces

Logging On: (for OSU and Langston U . ) On Campus: Ctrl-Alt-Del
User ID: use complete Email Address : joe.little@okstate.edu and
Password Accessing Library Databases
From Home: Go to http://www.osu-tulsa.okstate.edu/library, click OFF-Campus Access, and log on with Email Address and Password.
