Student Access to Electronic Resources

Students taking only Tulsa courses —

Tulsa-only students have access to the OSU-Tulsa print and electronic resources. These students do not have access to Stillwater Library electronic resources, unless they choose to visit the Stillwater library, due to database licensing restrictions.

Students taking only OSU-Stillwater courses —

Stillwater-only students have access to OSU-Stillwater electronic journals and databases at the Stillwater campus or off campus, using the Stillwater Proxy Server and their O-Key user name and password.

Stillwater-only students who visit the Tulsa Campus Library or Computing Labs have access to Tulsa Campus electronic resources using their OKEY user name and password. Off-campus access by Stillwater-only students to Tulsa Library electronic resources is not allowed because of database licensing restrictions.

Students taking courses on both Campus (Tulsa and Stillwater) —

Tulsa-and-Stillwater students have access to both the OSU-Tulsa and OSU-Stillwater electronic journals and databases on and off campus.

Printing at the Tulsa Library and Computing Labs —

Students will receive print credits based on the number of credit hour enrolled. Students enrolled in undergraduate sections will receive 50 print credits per credit hour and graduate sections will receive 100 print credits per credit hour. This will provide a level of fairness for part time vs. full time enrollment.

LU nursing students will receive 250 print credits per semester.

Off-campus access to Tulsa or Stillwater Electronic Library Resources is automatically determined by the section number of the courses in which they are enrolled each semester.

Course section numbers tht begin with an '8' indicate a Tulsa course.

Any other course section numbers indicate enrollment in a Stillwater course section. Your students could be enrolled in courses at both campuses in any given semester.

How do students determine if their course section numbers are Stillwater or Tulsa?

Students can go to the Student Self Service webpage at: https://prodosu.okstate.edu/ and select Login to Student Services, then type in their O-Key username and password. Courses are listed giving the course section numbers.

Faculty have access to both Tulsa and Stillwater print and electronic library resources.
