Make-up Exams
Fees:
OSU-Tulsa Testing Services does not charge a fee for OSU students taking make-up exams on the Tulsa campus.
Appointments:
Appointments are preferred so that we can make sure the exam has arrived and to ensure students have an available space in the testing room. In emergency situations, we will accept walk-ins. Students may schedule exams Monday through Friday during our hours of operation. Students should schedule their appointments to allow enough time to finish exams before closing time.
Required Identification:
Students will need to bring a photo ID such as a driver’s license or student ID card.
Policies and Procedures:
- Students must show proper identification to take a make-up exam.
- Students should know their course number, test number, and instructor’s name.
- Students need to bring the materials necessary for a test as authorized by their instructor. Students will not be able to use any materials their instructor did not explicitly authorize.
- Students will not be allowed to get anything they have forgotten once they begin an exam.
- Testing Services hours will not be extended so that a student may have the full time to take an exam if he/she arrives late or schedules incorrectly.
- Exams cannot be taken home to be finished.
- Unauthorized items are not allowed in the testing area. Lockers are provided, but space is limited, so students should bring only what they need. Click here for a list of unauthorized items.
- Cell phones are not permitted in the testing area even if they are turned off or put on vibrate. They must be left in a locker.
- Calculators may be used when authorized by the instructor but only the type of calculator specified.
- Any form of cheating or academic dishonesty will be reported to the instructor for appropriate disciplinary action and an irregularity report will be filed.
- Students may not take any papers (including scratch paper) with them from the testing area.
- Students are not allowed to bring their own exams or instructions for the exam.
Testing for Students with Disabilities:
It is important that students notify Testing Services staff of their testing needs prior to the desired test date. Contact Margie Axford in Student Disability Services at 918-594-8354 to request special testing accommodations.
