"Preparing Your Child to Succeed in School and Life"
Free and open to the public. Registration required for free dinner and childcare.
Dr. Lucia Ciciolla will outline tools that parents can use to help set the stage for their child's success. She is an assistant professor in the College of Arts of Sciences Department of Psychology at Oklahoma State University. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology with an emphasis in child and family science and quantitative science from Arizona State University and completed an APA-accredited internship at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill's School of Medicine in the child-community track. Her research is broadly focused on understanding processes of risk and resilience within the context of the parent-child relationship. Dr. Ciciolla's primary interests are parental caregiving and parent-child interactions as mechanisms underlying child development and the intergenerational transmission of psychopathology.
The B.S. Roberts Room is easily accessed from parking lots D or E. Dinner will be served from 5:30-6 p.m. and childcare will be provided during the event. Reservations are required for dinner or childcare. To register or learn more about the event, visit the registration website.
