Dr. Ron Bussert, vice president of administration and finance, said the hillside clearing is an effort to add to the beauty and welcoming atmosphere of OSU-Tulsa.
“The purpose of this project is removing the underbrush and clearing the site to enhance aesthetics and help ensure the safety of our campus,” Bussert said.
Bussert said the Helmerich ATRC is scheduled to be completed in November and the goal is to have the hills cleaned and modestly landscaped in time for the opening. The clearing project is expected to take 45 to 60 days to complete.
