Monday, April 06, 2009Mayor Taylor to Host Meth Summit at OSU-Tulsa TonightFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASETULSA - Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor and other city leaders will host a community summit tonight at OSU-Tulsa to address the recent surge of methamphetamine abuse and meth-lab fires in the city.
The panel discussion will begin at 6 p.m. tonight in the OSU-Tulsa Auditorium. The summit is free and open to the public, however seating is limited.
Participating agencies include the Tulsa Police Department, Tulsa Fire Department, Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office, EMSA/Metropolitan Medical Response System, Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office, the City of Tulsa’s Working in Neighborhoods, American Red Cross, Tulsa City-County Health Department and Tulsa Apartment Association.
