TULSA – The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour will make a stop at OSU-Tulsa next week for an evening of adventure and beautiful mountain landscapes.

The films will be shown for one night only in Tulsa on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. in the OSU-Tulsa Auditorium. The event is sponsored by Climb High Adventures in Glenpool.

The international film festival features a collection of thought-provoking action, environmental and adventure mountain films. The topics cover a range of themes including adventure sports, the environment, mountain culture and heritage, while incorporating a variety of styles of film, such as action-filled shorts, comprehensive films, amateur and professional productions.

The tour, which includes stops in more than 275 communities across 30 countries, is produced by The Banff Centre in Calgary, Ontario, Canada, in cooperation with National Geographic.
