Tuesday, September 15, 2009Graduate Programs Showcase Planned at OSU-TulsaFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASETULSA – Oklahoma State University-Tulsa is planning a Graduate Programs Showcase and several workshops Sept. 22-24 for current college students or professionals interested in advancing their careers.
The Showcase will take place Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Main Hall Commons. OSU faculty and graduate students will be on hand to discuss their degree programs and research activities. Representatives will also be available to answer questions about OSU’s 50 graduate degree programs available in Tulsa, admissions requirements, application deadlines and education funding.
Participants can also attend free informational sessions, including “Tips on Applying to Graduate School,” “Financial Aid for Graduate Students” and “Graduate Admissions Tests.”
OSU-Tulsa’s Graduate Student Services Center is also planning several workshops to help prepare prospective students for graduate school entrance exams.
On Wednesday, Sept. 23, the GRE/GMAT Verbal Skills Workshop is planned from noon to 1 p.m. and the GRE/GMAT Quantitative Skills Workshop is set for 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Both workshops will take place in North Hall 121.
The events will conclude on Thursday, Sept. 24 with a Goals Statement Workshop from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and a Miller Analogies Test (MAT) Skills Workshop from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The workshops will take place in North Hall 121.
