New OSU-Tulsa Speaker Series Focuses on Health and Wellness
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

TULSA – What is wellness, really? The OSU-Tulsa Wellness Center is launching a new speaker series this fall that will explore that question and many more in an effort to educate people about living an overall healthy lifestyle.

“Our goal is to teach people simple things that we can all do to live healthier, including little changes that we can make that will impact our lives in a big way,” said Brad Manley, OSU-Tulsa wellness coordinator.

The first of the series is “What is Wellness?” on Tuesday, Oct. 6 from noon to 1 p.m. in North Hall 116A. The event is free and open to OSU students, faculty and staff.

The featured speaker is Eric Moon, a former award-winning coach and current health and wellness coordinator for the Holmes Organization. He is also a member of the Tulsa Wellness Forum.

Manley said future educational programs in the speaker series will focus on topics such as nutrition, stress and time management, physical activity and weight management.
