TULSA (Oct. 27, 2009) – Oklahoma State University’s Gary Trennepohl will be honored for his 10-year service as OSU-Tulsa’s first president on Sunday, Nov. 1 at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame.

The Primal Swing Combo and special guest Chuck Cissel will perform beginning at 5 p.m. Cissel will honor Trennepohl and his wife, Sandra, during the performance.

OSU-Tulsa and the Trennepohls have been longtime supporters of the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame and other arts and humanities organizations in Tulsa. Trennepohl returned to a full-time OSU faculty position on Oct. 5 after serving as OSU-Tulsa’s president for 10 years.

The event will take place at the Jazz Depot, located at 111 E. First Street. Tickets for the concert are $15 for adults; $10 for seniors, college students and Jazz Hall members; and $5 for students 12 and older. Reserved seats at a front table are available for $20 per person.
