Wednesday, November 04, 2009Tulsa TechFest Set for Friday at OSU-TulsaFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASETULSA (Oct. 4, 2009) – OSU-Tulsa is expected to host approximately 700 information technology professionals for Tulsa TechFest on Friday, Nov. 6 beginning at 8 a.m. in the Conference Center.
The technology conference is designed for executive officers, managers, job seekers, developers and others in the information technology field. The conference is free and open to the public. However, organizers request that attendees bring two cans of food or a $2 donation for the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma and Family and Children’s Services.
This year’s conference features more than 60 presenters including keynote speaker Joe Fletcher, a user experience manager at Microsoft Corporation. He will speak about the future of touch computing in Windows 7 and Microsoft Surface.
Additional conference topics include software development products and trends, project management, information security, database management and performance, personal and professional development, graphic and web design content, marketing and business.
