OSU-Tulsa Financial Aid Awareness Week teaches students about paying for college
Oklahoma State University-Tulsa students can learn about programs and scholarships available to help pay for college during Financial Aid Awareness Week on Jan. 27-31.
Financial Aid Awareness Week, hosted by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, offers assistance in locating and applying for different types of aid to cover the costs associated with earning a college degree.
“There are a wide variety of financial aid programs available to assist students in paying for their college education,” said Ashley Lorenz, coordinator of scholarships and financial aid at OSU-Tulsa. “We can help students get started by filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and show them where to search for other scholarships, grants and other aid opportunities.”
Throughout the week, students can visit information tables in the North Hall Lobby and Main Hall Commons for tips and information on scholarships and financial aid.
OSU-Tulsa financial aid counselors will host a FAFSA Application Come-and-Go Workshop on Thursday, Jan. 30 from 3-4:30 p.m. in North Hall 243 to assist students in filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid online.
All Financial Aid Awareness Week activities are free and open to the public. For more information, contact the OSU-Tulsa Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid at firstname.lastname@example.org or 918-594-8273.
