Phi Beta Lambda takes top awards at state leadership conference

The OSU-Tulsa chapter of Phi Beta Lambda recently won several awards and earned the Silver Chapter Ribbon during the Oklahoma Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference at OSU-Stillwater.
The student business club received second place in public relations and third place in the Make a Difference category. Cat Rockholt and Stephanie Human earned individual Make a Difference awards for their volunteer work. Rockholt was also recognized with a Who’s Who Award for completing the most volunteer service of the OSU-Tulsa club members and was elected four-year university vice president of the Oklahoma chapter. She will represent OSU-Tulsa and the state at regional and national events.
In competitive events, Human placed second for learning and studying skills and third in Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda facts. Kristy Lawson won second place in business law, Imran Kahn earned third place in microeconomics and Rockholt took second place in job interview skills. Truby Mackey placed third in telephone etiquette skills. The club will represent OSU-Tulsa at the 2014 National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tenn. in June.
