Electrical engineering major Nick Ritchie was recognized for his exemplary work as an OSU-Tulsa student employee during a special ceremony on April 16 in the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center in Stillwater.
Patti Schmigle, career services coordinator, nominated Ritchie for the OSU Student Employee of the Year contest. Outstanding student employees throughout the OSU system are recognized during National Student Employment Week. Ritchie received a plaque in recognition of his nomination.
“Since the day he arrived in Student Services, Nick has demonstrated an eagerness to perform and truly exemplifies outstanding customer service,” said Schmigle. “He was instrumental in supporting the Engineering Design Challenge and went above and beyond to recruit his classmates to serve as volunteers. It’s a pleasure to work with someone who continually strives to exceed expectations.”
As a work study student, Ritchie assists with Career Services events and programs and helps in Prospective Student Services.
