Oklahoma Phi Beta Lambda President Brandi Black, second from the left, joins OSU-Tulsa students Margarita Raygoza-Ibarra, left, Cat Rockholt, Truby Mackey and Stephanie Huaman at the national conference.
OSU-Tulsa Phi Beta Lambda President Cat Rockholt earned third place for her job interview skills during a competition at the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda 2014 National Leadership Conference on June 24-27 in Nashville, Tenn.
The award was based on Rockholt’s resume, cover letter, job application, job posting and two mock interviews. OSU-Tulsa club members Truby Mackey, Imran Khan, Maggie Raygoza and Stephanie Huaman competed in the conference’s agribusiness, microeconomic and PBL facts leadership events.
More than 4,000 PBL students attended the conference, which included workshops, exhibits and a March of Dimes fundraising event. The student leadership club will represent OSU-Tulsa at the 2014 National Fall Conference in New Orleans, La. in November.
