Pulitzer Prize-Winning Novelist Russo to Speak at OSU-Tulsa
TULSA (March 22, 2010) – Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Richard Russo, who is known for his compelling sense of small-town America, will speak about his life and career at Oklahoma State University-Tulsa April 13.
“An Evening with Richard Russo” will take place at 7 p.m. in the OSU-Tulsa Auditorium. The event is presented by the Oklahoma Center for Poets and Writers at OSU-Tulsa.

His novel, “Empire Falls,” won the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. It was also adapted into an HBO mini-series, starring Paul Newman, Ed Harris, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Helen Hunt.
Russo has authored seven novels including “That Old Cape Magic,” “Bridge of Sighs,” “Straight Man,” “Nobody’s Fool,” “The Risk Pool” and “Mohawk.” He has also written one collection of short stories.
