OSU-Tulsa students to host forum on State Question 744
TULSA (Oct. 19, 2010) – The Student Government Association at Oklahoma State University-Tulsa will host a campus forum on State Question 744 on Thursday, Oct. 21 at 7:30 p.m. in North Hall 150.
The moderated forum will include campaign representatives from both sides of the issue and a question and answer session. The public is welcome to attend.
State Question 744 concerns the amount of money spent annually to support public schools, including pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The measure would require the state to spend annually no less than the average amount spent on each student by surrounding states (Missouri, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Colorado and New Mexico).
