Nearly 300 people filled the OSU-Tulsa auditorium on Wednesday to greet Gov. Mary Fallin and 11 members of her Cabinet during a special Town Hall Forum focusing on issues affecting Tulsa and northeastern Oklahoma.
Fallin, an OSU alumnae, and the Cabinet members touched on a number of topics during the nearly two-hour session, ranging from education, the development of Oklahoma’s high tech jobs sector, transportation infrastructure and more.
Following reports from the state leaders, Fallin answered questions from the audience, including further discussion on education, the feasibility of a light rail system between Tulsa and Oklahoma City and the importance of the aerospace industry to Oklahoma.
The Town Hall Forum was the first event live-streamed on OSU’s new online network, OStateTV.
