Spring orientation sessions scheduled for students
OSU-Tulsa will host several orientation sessions in January to prepare students for university life. Students can learn how to navigate the OSU-Tulsa campus, discover the services and opportunities that are available to them, meet fellow students and learn about systems and processes they'll use at OSU.
New undergraduate students can choose from sessions scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 3 at noon and 6 p.m. or Saturday, Jan. 5 at 10:30 a.m. Each session will take place in North Hall 150. Online registration is available.
New International Student Orientation is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 8 at noon in the Graduate Student Services Center/International Student Services Office, Main Hall 1101. The mandatory session for new international students will be led by Thomas Wallis, graduate admissions officer and international student services representative. For more information, contact Wallis at 918-594-8445 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Graduate Student Orientation is set for Saturday, Jan. 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Main Hall Commons. Current and new students can meet fellow graduate students and professors while learning about the various workshops, resources and services available through OSU-Tulsa's Graduate Student Services Center. For more information, call Aaron Christensen at 918-594-8445 or email@example.com.
All orientation sessions offer students the opportunity to tour campus and provide information about campus life activities, student organizations and other valuable services. Participants also will learn about OSU-Tulsa drink cups that allow students to get $.25 refills at the Subway and MoJoe's on campus. In addition, most sessions offer giveaways or door prizes.
