OSU in Tulsa to walk in MLK Day Parade
Students, faculty and staff at OSU-Tulsa and the OSU Center for Health Sciences are invited to join Pistol Pete and BOB, the Big Orange Bus, to march in the 2013 Martin Luther King, Jr. parade on Jan. 21 at 11 a.m.
This year's theme is "Celebrate Diversity 2013: Let Hope Inspire the Dream." The parade will start at Detroit Ave. and John Hope Franklin Blvd. and proceed east through the OSU-Tulsa campus and the historic Greenwood District.
Hooded sweatshirts with the OSU in Tulsa event logo are available for preorder from the Information Center in the North Hall Lobby through Jan. 11.
The 2013 hooded sweatshirts are $21 for sizes small, medium, large and extra-large; $24 for size XXL; $27 for size XXX-L. Sweatshirts will be available for pick-up on Jan. 18 after 3 p.m. For more information, contact Nekki Reagan-Neeley at 918-594-8234 or emonica@reagan@okstate.edu.
