OSU-Tulsa workshop focuses on the benefits of a graduate degree
The Oklahoma State University-Tulsa Graduate Student Services Center will host a special workshop for students interested in advancing their education with a graduate-level degree on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 5:30 p.m. in North Hall 130.
“It is never too early to become acquainted with the steps toward a graduate education,” said Aaron Christensen, OSU-Tulsa graduate student services manager. “This comprehensive presentation is an excellent resource for anyone considering post-baccalaureate study.
“Graduate Education: The Next Step” will offer students advice on applying for a graduate program, tips for obtaining positive letters of recommendation and learn how to write quality statements of purpose. Participants will also learn the benefits of a graduate education, the variety of degree options available, tips to prepare for entrance exams and the step-by-step application process including timelines and requirements.
