Workshop highlights the benefits of a graduate degree from OSU-Tulsa
The Graduate Student Services Center at Oklahoma State University-Tulsa will host a special workshop for students interested in advancing their education with a graduate degree on Thursday, April 4 at 5:30 p.m. in North Hall 150.
“The workshop offers students the opportunity to become acquainted with the steps necessary to get started on a graduate education,” said Aaron T. Christensen, graduate student services manager. “This comprehensive presentation is an excellent resource for anyone considering post-baccalaureate study.”
“Graduate Education: The Next Step” will offer students advice on applying for admission, tips for obtaining positive letters of recommendation and writing quality statements of purpose. Participants will learn the benefits of a graduate education, the variety of degree options available, tips to prepare for entrance exams and the step-by-step application process including timelines and requirements.
