Financial Success Seminar Set for
Feb. 23

McGheeOSU-Tulsa's African-American Student Association (AASA) will host “A Road Map to Financial Success” on Tuesday, Feb. 23. The event, which is part of OSU-Tulsa’s Black History Month activities, will begin at 6 p.m. in North Hall 150.

Cynthia A. McGhee, a CPA and managing partner with McGhee and Associates, will give a financial presentation focused on taxes, investments and how to prepare now for retirement.

Be Part of OSU History on Feb. 26

OSU President Burns Hargis and First Cowgirl Ann Hargis invite students, faculty, staff and alumni to an unprecedented celebration of OSU’s future.

The live event will take place in Stillwater and the official watch party at OSU-Tulsa is Friday, Feb. 26 at 11 a.m. in the B.S. Roberts Room. The event can be viewed remotely through a live web stream. The webcast will be available for viewing after the event at witnessOSUhistory.com

Vote Now in the Inaugural ShortShooter Film Festival

OSU-Tulsa and the Tulsa Drillers have teamed up to present the ShortShooter Film Festival, a student video competition to promote the upcoming inaugural season at ONEOK Field.

Students from OSU-Tulsa’s Creative Marketing course created original video productions for the Tulsa Drillers about their move to ONEOK Field, located just south of OSU-Tulsa.

The ShortShooter Film Festival is an online Facebook competition that allows the public to choose their favorite of the students’ videos. The winning student group will have their original video featured at a Tulsa Drillers game during opening weekend in April. Facebook users can vote for their favorite video through Feb. 26.

OSU-Tulsa Business Offices to Close for Staff Training Feb. 25

OSU-Tulsa’s Bursar, Admissions and Advisement offices will close from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25 for annual staff training. For more information or to make an appointment, contact the Bursar office at 594-8320, Admissions at 594-8445 or Advisement at 594-8271.
