OSU-Tulsa to Host Gubernatorial Issues Forum April 7

Oklahoma gubernatorial candidates will discuss and debate issues facing the state during a public forum April 7 at OSU-Tulsa.

The gubernatorial issues forum will take place from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the OSU-Tulsa Auditorium. Candidates invited to attend include Congresswoman Mary Fallin, Lieutenant Governor Jari Askins, Attorney General Drew Edmondson and Senator Randy Brogdon.

OSU-Tulsa President Howard Barnett will moderate the forum, which is hosted by OSU-Tulsa and The Oklahoma Academy. Candidates will discuss policy issues such forecasts for the 2012 state budget, education, health care and prison overpopulation. The forum is free and open to the public.

OSU Logo on HelmerichAn OSU logo was added this week to the outside of OSU-Tulsa’s Helmerich Research Center. Drivers on I-244 can easily see the sign which helps identify the campus and displays OSU-Tulsa’s orange pride.

OSU-Tulsa to Provide Weekend Parking for Drillers

OSU-Tulsa will provide on-campus parking for Tulsa Drillers’ fans during weekend games at ONEOK Field when the season opens April 8.

Drillers’ fans will be permitted to park at OSU-Tulsa for Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday games. No parking will be allowed Monday through Thursday.
