OSU-Tulsa career fair offers opportunity to meet potential employers
OSU students and alumni will have the opportunity to meet representatives from companies hiring for part-time, full-time and internship positions at the OSU-Tulsa Career Fair on Oct. 6.
The Career Fair, which is for all majors, will take place from 2-4 p.m. in the Main Hall Commons. Participants should come professionally dressed, bring résumés and be prepared to meet potential employers.
Participants can also have a free digital photo taken for use on professional websites, blogs and social networking sites like LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
Hispanic Student Association event to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, OSU-Tulsa's Hispanic Student Association (HSA) will host a Hispanic food sampling at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the North Hall Lobby.
The event, which is free and open to OSU students, faculty and staff, will feature food catered by Qdoba, Hispanic culture information and music.
Get active with a full calendar of wellness events
OSU-Tulsa's Wellness Center will offer several free workshops, events and competitions throughout the fall semester.
The programs will help students, faculty and staff lose weight, become more active and focus on particular health-related issues. For competitive-minded Cowboys, several competitions with prizes are also scheduled. Membership to the OSU-Tulsa Wellness Center is not required to participate.
