Orientation sessions prepare students for fall semester
OSU-Tulsa will host several new student orientation sessions this month to prepare students for fall classes.
New undergraduate students can choose from sessions scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 16 at noon and 6 p.m. or Saturday, Aug. 18 at 10:30 a.m. All three sessions will take place in North Hall 150. Online registration is encouraged, but not required.
OSU-Tulsa’s Graduate Student Orientation will take place Saturday, Aug. 18 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Main Hall Commons. Current and new students can meet fellow graduate students and professors while learning about the various workshops, resources and services available through OSU-Tulsa’s Graduate Student Services Center.
An International Student Orientation is also scheduled for Monday, Aug. 20 at 2 p.m. in Main Hall 1101. Current international students will share their experiences and answer questions. To learn more, call 918-594-8445.
All orientation sessions will offer students the opportunity to tour campus and provide information about campus life activities, student organizations and other valuable services. Students will also learn how to participate in the Orange Power Pass rewards program.
OSU in Tulsa seeking volunteers for United Way Day of Caring
OSU Center for Health Sciences and OSU-Tulsa are seeking volunteers to participate in the United Way Day of Caring on Friday, Sept. 7 to assist the Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma.
Volunteers will be cleaning the troop house, conducting gardening projects and maintenance, cleaning up walking trails and other projects to help spruce up the facility.

Discounted football, basketball tickets available for OSU-Tulsa students, faculty and staff
Get set to cheer on your Big 12 and Fiesta Bowl Champion Cowboys this fall. OSU-Tulsa students get tickets today to catch all seven home games that include Big 12 newcomers West Virginia and TCU, as well as Texas, for $210.
Now students can buy tickets online. Log in to the Oklahoma State Ticket Office using the following account ID: 12 + CWID. For example, if your CWID is 12345678, then your account ID is 1212345678. If you do not know your password or are logging in for the first time, click Forgot Your Password and it will be emailed to your email address on file with OSU Registrar.
OSU-Tulsa faculty and staff members are eligible for discounted tickets as well. Season tickets start at $400 for all seven home games and visiting okstate.com/facultyandstaff will get discounted seats for the home opener and West Virginia. Use the special offer code Fiesta to take advantage of this deal.
