Financial Aid Awareness Week begins Monday
Finding a way to pay for college can be overwhelming and stressful, but OSU-Tulsa's Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid is offering assistance next week during Financial Aid Awareness Week.
Financial Aid Awareness Week offers help and resources for new and returning students in locating and applying for different types of aid to assist with the costs associated with earning a college degree.

Vote for your favorite OSU music video for TASsel Project Challenge
Students in Dr. Tracy Suter's Creative Marketing course are competing to win the TASsel Project Video Tribute Challenge. As part of the challenge, students created music videos that pay tribute to some aspect of OSU.
OSU students, faculty and staff are invited to watch the videos and vote for their favorite. Videos can be viewed at the TASsel Project website. Votes can be submitted online, by texting the title of your favorite video to 305-982-7735 or by mentioning @TASselProject on Twitter.
Voting continues until Saturday, Feb. 2 at 5 p.m. The winning video will be determined by totaling YouTube views, website votes, text message votes and twitter mentions. Two voters will also be selected at random to win $100 gift cards for participating.
OSU Class Rings available Feb. 18
The OSU Alumni Association will showcase the official OSU Class Ring on Monday, Feb. 18 from 3-7 p.m. in the North Hall Lobby.
The ring is available to alumni and current students with 60 or more credit hours. It was designed by a group of OSU students, alumni and administrators and is the only official ring recognized by the university.

Applications open for Student Patron of the Arts Award
OSU-Tulsa students who have supported the arts through attendance, participation or service may apply for the 2013 Martin T. Letcher Student Patron of the Arts Awards offer by the Higher Education Cultural Roundtable.
Applications are due Feb. 28 and include an essay, letters of support and a college transcript. One $700 award and one $400 award will be awarded to assist with college tuition and expenses. Visit the HECR website for more information and application instructions.
The Higher Education Cultural Roundtable is comprised of representatives from Tulsa-area colleges and universities, the Tulsa City/County Library and the Arts and Humanities Council of Tulsa.
Scrub Run to raise money for local charitable organizations
The OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine will host the annual Osteopathic Scrub Run on Saturday, March 2 at the OSU Center for Health Sciences. Proceeds from the run will support Lifeshare Transplant Donor Services of Oklahoma and the Sooner Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
The event features a 5K and one-mile fun run, which are both ChampionChip timed. Racers, casual runners and walkers of all ages are invited to participate. Registration begins at 7 a.m., with the 5K starting at 9 a.m. and the fun run starting at 9:05 a.m.
At 11 a.m., following the awards ceremony, participants are encouraged to take advantage of a free health fair. Visit the Scrub Run website to learn more or to register online.
