The AIMSJ is a double blind, refereed journal which publishes theoretical and empirical manuscripts in information and management science. Its primary objective is to expand the boundaries of the literature by supportingthe exchange of ideas and insights which further the understanding of management and information systems. Its current acceptance rate for manuscripts is 25%. Authors of practical or educational papers may also submit them to the AIMSJ for review. Manuscripts which the Editorial Board consider to be of interest to practitioners may be published in the Executive Forum, a special section of the Journal dedicated to current issues.Manuscripts which have an educational or pedagogic orientationare refereed by the Editorial Board for possible publication in the Academy of Educational Leadership Journal. Subjects of interest to the Editorial Board include all aspects of information systems and management science.Authors who wish to discuss potential interest in a manuscript should contact the Editor by e-mail.

The mission of the Academy of Management Journal is to publish empirical research that tests, extends, or builds management theory and contributes to management practice. All empirical methods- including, but not limited to, qualitative, quantitative, field, laboratory, and combination methods -- are welcome. To be published in AMJ, a manuscript must make strong empirical and theoretical contributions and highlight the significance of thosecontributions to the management field. Thus, preference is given to submissions that test, extend, or build strong theoretical frameworks while empirically examining issues with high importance for management theory and practice.AMJ is not tied to any particular discipline, level of analysis, or national context.

The mission of the new Academy of Management Perspectives (AMP) is to provide accessible articles about important issues concerning management and business.AMP articles are aimed at the non-specialist academic reader, not practicing managers, and rely on evidence as opposed to theory or opinion for their arguments. All articles are fundamentally based on research evidence, which can be quantitative or qualitative, but not on opinion. Articles focus on the phenomenon of businessand management rather than theory; they do not necessarily have to advance the existing academic literature. Articles might include reviews of what we already know about particular topics, with an orientation specifically towardpractical implications. Descriptive articles and those without a theoretical foundation, typically excluded from academic journals, might also be relevant if they advance our understanding of business and management practice.AMP is also open to a range of evidence, including case studies, qualitative research broadly defined, and statistical analyses. AMP articles are fundamentally about evidence, however.

The mission of the Academy of Management Review (AMR) is to publish new theoretical insights that advance our understanding of management and organizations. AMR is receptive to a variety of perspectives, including those seeking to improve the effectiveness of, as well as those critical of, management and organizations. Submissions to AMR must extend theory in ways that permit the development of testable knowledge-based claims. The contributions of AMR articles often are grounded in "normal science disciplines" of economics, psychology, sociology, or social psychology as well as nontraditional perspectives, such as the humanities.AMR publishes novel, insightful and carefully crafted conceptual work that challenges conventional wisdom concerning all aspects of organizations and their roles in society.

Computing Surveys,a journal published by the ACM, the Association for Computing, publishes surveys, tutorials, and special reports on all areas of computing research.Volumes are published yearly in four issues appearing in March, June, September, and December.Computing Surveys does not publish ``new'' research. This is left to the Transactions and other specialized publications of the ACM.stead, Computing Surveys focuses on surveys and tutorials that integrate the existing literature and put its results in context. This is accomplished by publishing surveys, tutorials, and symposia on special topics of interest to the membership of ACM.

This archival journal publishes original research that spans the field of human-computer interaction. Beginning with its first issue in March, 1994, it has sought to present work of high scientific quality that contributes to practice in thepresent and future. The primary emphasis has been on results of broad application, but the journal considers original work focused on specific domains, on special requirements, on ethical issues -- the full range of design, development, and use of interactive systems.
TOCHI publishes archival research papers in the following major areas.
1. Studying new hardware and software architectures for building human-computer interfaces 2. Studying new interactive techniques, metaphors and evaluation
3. Studying processes and techniques for designing human-computer interfaces
4. Studying users and groups of users to understand their needsTopics: human-computer interaction; design; development; use; interactive systems; Hardware and Software Architectures; Interactive Techniques, Metaphors and Evaluation; User Interface Design Processes; Users and Groups of Users

The purpose of the ACM Transactions on Computer Systems is to present research and development results on the design, specification, realization, behavior, and use of computer systems. The term "computer systems" is interpreted broadly and includes systems architectures, operating systems, distributed systems, and computer networks. Articles that appear in TOCS will tend either to present new techniques and concepts or to report on experiences and experimentswith actual systems. Insights useful to system designers, builders, and users will be emphasized. Among the topics within the scope of TOCS are the following:communication management
data organization
design of entire systems
design of system components
engineering trade-offs
fault tolerance
file systems
implementation techniques
information flow
performance analysisperformance models
processor management
protocols
reliability
security
storage management

The ACM Transactions on Database Systems (TODS) publishes original archival papers in the area of databases and closely related disciplines. The majority of the papers that have appeared in TODS address the logical and technical foundation of data management.
TODS welcomes papers on a full range of database research in the management of diverse forms of data. Such subjects include: data modeling, database languages, database theory, query processing, access methods and indexing, security and privacy, transaction management, fault tolerance, distribution, performance, data storage, data mining, and novel applications and infrastructures exploiting database technology.TODS encourages papers that explore the above subjects in the context of large distributed networks of computers, parallel or multiprocessing computers, or new data devices (including data storage devices, data capture devices, and data presentation devices). TODS also encourages papers that describe emerging data-intensive applications that cannot be satisfied by the current database technology.

The Transactions on Design Automation of Electronic Systems (TODAES) is part of the family of journals produced by the ACM. SIGDA is our sponsoring organization. TODAES publishes one volume every year. Each volume is comprised of four issues, which appear in January, April, July and October. The TODAES editorial board invites submission of technical papers describing recent results of research and development efforts in the area of design automation of electronic systems. Thejournal intends to provide a comprehensive coverage of innovative works concerning the specification, design, analysis, simulation, testing, and evaluation of very large scale integrated electronic systems, emphasizing a computer science/engineeringorientation.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
System Design:
High-Level Synthesis:
Logic Synthesis:
Physical Layout:
Design Verification:
System Reliability:
High Performance Circuits:TODAES will publish research papers (approximately 10-15 printed pages each), tutorial and survey papers (approximately 20-30 printed pages each), and short technical notes (no more than 5 printed pages each).
