Business professionals will find the perfect fit between graduate school and the desire to advance their careers with OSU’s new Professional Track Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
OSU’s flagship MBA program has been tailored to fit the needs of a working professional in this 36-credit hour program. The new Professional Track MBA program offers the same highly accredited instruction and courses as OSU’s traditional MBA, but enables students with significant management experience to use that knowledge to accelerate the completion of their degree. The Professional Track MBA is designed specifically for business professionals who already possess real-world experience and want to gain an edge in the business world with an MBA.
Students with an undergraduate degree in business, engineering, technology or related fields and at least three years substantial management experience are eligible to apply. The Professional Track MBA program includes 36 credit hours designed to fit around a working professional’s schedule, instead of the standard 48 credit hours. Students can pursue the Professional MBA degree on a full-time or part-time basis.
Students with significant work experience beyond three years who do not have an undergraduate degree in business may also be considered for this program. The Graduate Studies Committee will review and make an admissions recommendation on these applicants on a case-by-case basis.
Admission to the Professional Track MBA Program is based on careful consideration of the applicant's MBA application form, resume, university transcripts, letters of reference and results of the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT).
