Happy Hours

Keep your eyes out for Happy Hours in the North Hall Lobby. We have a Happy Hour once a month, usually something simple (popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones) but just enough to let you know we appreciate you!

Free Movie Showings

Twice a semester we show movies - free to students and their families (must have current student ids). We will post flyers and also send out an email informing you of the movie, time, and date.

Student Clubs and Organizations

OSU-Tulsa

Below is a summary of the active student clubs and organizations on campus. If you don't see an organization that interests you, start your own group. Drop by Campus Life in North Hall 130 and let us show you what it takes to start an organization or how to get involved.

African American Student Association
AASA's purpose is to provide unity to African-American students through programs designed to address educational and social concerns. OSU-Tulsa's AASA chapter has co-sponsored events such as GospelFest and panel discussions. Meetings are held bi-weekly. For information, contact Emonica Reagan at 918.594-8234.

American Society of Mechanical Engineers
The OSU-Tulsa student chapter of ASME was established to provide an opportunity for students to begin their professional careers by joining a professional engineering society and to build and support OSU-Tulsa's Mechanical Engineering program. American Studies Student Organization
The American Studies Student Organization was formed to coordinate supplemental learning opportunities for and social interactions among American Studies students on both campuses. The goal is to enhance the educational experience for all OSU students through programming that explores American history, society, and culture. Aviation Sciences Society
The purpose of the Aviation Sciences Society is to further the cause of aviation in all its branches, to promote contacts between the students of aviation and those engaged in the profession, and to promote a closer affiliation between the students of aviation for the purpose of education. Campus Crusade for Christ
Campus Crusade for Christ is an interdenominational, student, Christian organization seeking to provide a spiritual environment for students. For information, please contact Dr. John Acken at 594-8121 or acken@okstate.edu.

Educational Psychology Student Organization
The purpose of the Ed Psych Student Society is to strive for mindfulness and excellence in our academic endeavors, while promoting and addressing the needs of a community intellectually engaged in psychology. Health Promotion
The Health Promotion student organization was established to provide for professional development and preparation beyond the regular classroom experiences. Human Development and Family Science Club
The HDFS Club's purpose is to promote a better understanding of the value and total scope of HDFS and other related areas, to provide opportunities for students to assume leadership responsibilities and to provide a spirit of fellowship. For information, contact Dr. Mike Merten at 594.8318.

Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
IEEE promotes leadership, social interaction, exchange of ideas, teamwork projects, mentorship and service to its members, while emphasizing knowledge growth and professional development. Interested students should contact Dr. Stephen Bell at bells@okstate.edu or 594.8279.

International Student Organization
ISO is a place for graduate, undergraduate, international and non-international students to educate themselves from a global perspective. Get involved in a monthly "Conversation Corner", the annual "International Picnic and Games", or Cultural Nights" to benefit from our unique cross-cultural experience! Latino Student Association
The Latino Student Association was organized with the purpose of creating awareness of Latino cultures and to foster the development of social and educational opportunities for Latino students. For more information, contact Jessica Vann at 918-594-8355 or at jessica.vann@okstate.edu.

MBA Association
The MBA Association's purpose is to improve the quality of the OSU-Tulsa MBA Program by enhancing the academic, professional, and social development of its candidates. Interested students should contact Terisa Cunha at 594.8160.

Native American Student Association
NASA's objective is to provide an opportunity for students of Native American descent to participate in culturally relevant activities that foster a closer union and perpetuate individual tribal traditions and customs. For information, contact Shonday Harmon at 594.8170.

OSU Business Association
OBA incorporates all Business-related majors and students seeking future employment in the business field. Employers are keynote speakers at monthly meetings and present information about employment in the business field. OBA participates in various community-service events including food drives and clothing drives to benefit the Tulsa community. Contact Farrah Walker at 594.8208 or Beverly Morris at 594.8574.

Langston

Langston University Association for System Management (IT Club)
The Information Technology Club at Langston University Tulsa is dedicated to providing students with unique opportunities to expand their knowledge and experience in the vast field of Information Technology through workshops, presentations, guest speakers, and community involvement, review of business and technology press and additional mediums. Langston University Business Association
The Business Association seeks to improve the quality of educational, social and personal lives of students. The organization promotes high quality learning and provides opportunities for members to become exceptional leaders. For more information, contact Dr. Payma at 594-8086.

Langston University Graduate Student Association Counseling

Langston University Master's in Education Association

Langston University Psychology Club
The purpose of the Psychology Club is to the encourage academic growth, broaden student exposure, increase student experiences, enhance the reputation of the psychology department of Langston University, fostering a relationship with the professional community, as well as providing a link between school and the community. Langston University Student Nurses Association

Langston University Student Oklahoma Education Association
The Student Oklahoma Education Association is for students who are interested in a career in education. In addition to attending conventions and conferences, Langston-Tulsa SOEA members hold monthly meetings and participate in fundraising projects. Outdoor Adventure
Outdoor Adventure's goal is to provide opportunities for fun, adventure, education and excitement. Through the trip and workshop programs adventure, environmental awareness, personal development, safety training, wilderness travel and fun are emphasized. With a variety of regional and national trips as well as workshops at all skill levels, OA strives to provide opportunities for enrichment for the whole community. Whether it is exploring the Grand Canyon over spring break, a day at the challenge course or the annual climbing competition, the common elements in the programs are quality leadership and lots of fun! Schedules are available in the Campus Life office.
