OSU Distance Learning Exams

Fees:
No fee is charged at OSU-Tulsa Testing Services for proctoring exams that are part of an OSU distance learning program.

Appointments:
We prefer that students schedule an appointment so that we can make sure the exam has arrived and to ensure a space is available in the testing area. In emergency situations, we will accept walk-ins. Students may schedule their exams Monday through Friday during our hours of operation. Students should schedule their appointments to allow enough time to finish their exam before closing time. Students should also be aware of exam deadlines as most distance learning programs have dates by which exams must be taken.

Required Identification:
Students will need to bring a photo ID with them such as a driver's license or student ID card.

Policies and Procedures:

1. Students should contact OSU-Tulsa Testing Services to fill out a proctor agreement form to submit to their distance learning program.
2. Students must show proper identification to take a distance exam.
3. Students need to bring the materials necessary for a test as authorized by their instructor. Students will not be able to use any materials their instructor did not explicitly authorize.
4. Students will not be allowed to retrieve materials they have forgotten once they begin an exam.
5. Testing Services hours will not be extended so that a student may have the full time to take his or her exam if he or she arrives late or schedules incorrectly.
6. Exams cannot be taken home to be finished.
7. Unauthorized items are not allowed in the testing area. Lockers are provided, but space is limited, so students should bring only what they need. Click here for a list of unauthorized items.
8. Cell phones are not permitted in the testing area even if they are turned off or put on vibrate. They must be left in a locker.
9. Calculators may be used when authorized by the instructor but only the type of calculator specified.
10. Any form of cheating or academic dishonesty will be reported to the student's distance learning program coordinator for appropriate disciplinary action.
11. Students may not take any papers (including scratch paper) with them from the testing area.

Testing for Students with Disabilities:
It is important that students notify Testing Center staff of special testing needs prior to the desired test date. We will do our best to accommodate individual needs.

OSU-Tulsa Testing Services Information for Proctor Agreement Forms:
Students may use the information below for completing their proctor agreement forms to submit to their distance learning program. Students may also call OSU-Tulsa Testing Services to have us complete a proctor agreement for them and fax it immediately to the distance program in which they are enrolled.
