Welcome Week

Campus Life will have a display in North Hall during Welcome Week. Campus Life is a fantastic resource for students who want to become involved with the OSU-Tulsa student groups. Campus Life will have information brochures in the North Hall lobby and Main Hall commons area. Food Truck Walk Wednesdays

Guthrie Green hosts "Food Truck Wednesday" every Wednesday starting at 11:30 a.m. Food vendors will park their mobile kitchens around the parameter of the G.G. Join us at the Wellness Center at 12:10 p.m. and we will walk as a group to the G.G. All employees must pay for their own lunch. Feel free to bring your own lunch and walk with us anyways! Social Sweat Program (students, faculty and staff)

Teams of four will participate in this two-week challenge. Each team will receive a list of six team-based workouts to complete. All students and employees are encouraged to participate in this program. The Social Sweat Program aims to bring people together through their love of fitness and health. All teams must be registered for this event by Friday, Jan. 23. To register, please e-mail the OSU-Tulsa Wellness Center at tulsa.wellness@okstate.edu. You can also register in person at the OSU-Tulsa Wellness Center.

This is the second week of this two-week challenge. All students and employees are encouraged to participate in this program. The Social Sweat Program aims to bring people together through their love of fitness and health. All teams must be registered for this event by Friday, Jan. 23. Office Yoga Class

Certified Yoga instructor Sunny Ray wants to show you how you can relax without ever leaving your office. Participants will learn basic relaxation and stress relief techniques. Stress Relief Breaks

The OSU-Tulsa Wellness Center will be in the North Hall lobby on Feb. 23 and 25, and in the Main Hall commons area Feb. 24 and 26, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. All students and employees are encouraged to participate in a variety of easy task-based games. Play for five minutes and head to class. This event will be just what you need to relax and have a small moment of fun. All activities will start at 3 p.m. and last until 4:30 p.m. For more information about this event, please contact the Wellness Center at 918-594-8126 or tulsa.wellness@okstate.edu.

Employee Walking Program

All OSU faculty and staff are encouraged to meet at the Wellness Center at noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to join the Employee Walking Group. A Wellness Team member will lead the walking group through multiple paths for a total time of 30 minutes. There is no registration required for this event. Simply show up and walk! Steps to a Healthier BMI/Body Fat

This Lunch-n-Learn is dedicated to Body Mass Index (BMI) and Body Fat % information. Learn the medical complications associated with a high BMI as well as, tips to slimming down and getting your BMI and Body Fat% to a healthy rating. Participants must register for this event. Personal Finance Lunch-n-Learn

A certified financial planner will be teaching this Lunch-n-Learn. Do you know to budget? How much money should you have in your savings account? Do you know how to do your taxes? Lead By Example

This is a two-hour seminar for OSU students. Leadership in the workplace, school or family is essential because people tend to take on the personalities of their leaders or leadership team. Whether you’re a CEO of a company or just someone trying set personal goals, leadership is a skill that can always be developed. Dr. Tim Hart will take students through numerous leadership activities and give them the tools they need to become great leaders. New Day Calendar Kick-Off

The New Day Calendar is a program that is meant to help introduce new skills, events, and habits into your life. The goal of this program is for participants to do one new activity every day for the month of May. Activities can range in length, complexity or skill. All participants will meet on Monday, May 4 at 1 p.m. in the Fitness Studio to receive an official New Day Calendar. Jeremiah Watkins, coordinator of wellness, will give participants ideas, tips and suggestions for their calendars.

Departmental Gratuity Board

All OSU-Tulsa departments are encouraged to participate in this event. Upon request, each department will receive a white board to hang in a high-traffic area of its office space. Employees are encouraged to leave positive notes and praises for their coworkers. The gratuity board is meant to boost department morale and encourage positive and constructive feedback among employees.
