As part of the City of Tulsa’s ongoing road construction project, OSU-Tulsa students, faculty and staff should allow extra time to arrive at or leave campus.
Expect heavy traffic and delays as street improvements continue on Detroit Avenue, Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and John Hope Franklin Boulevard immediately north of I-244.
The city launched the project last fall near the main campus entrance to improve streets and lighting and to add new sidewalks and streetscaping for increased pedestrian traffic between campus and downtown.
John Hope Franklin Boulevard between Detroit Avenue and Elgin Avenue is reduced to one eastbound lane. Drivers will need to take an alternate route when leaving campus.
Drivers may leave campus by taking Greenwood Avenue south to Archer Street or north to Pine Street. Elgin Avenue may also be accessed from Easton Street, south of Parking Lot D.
View the campus map page for driving directions to OSU-Tulsa.
