Two nationally renowned researchers will be the keynote speakers at OSU in Tulsa's Research Day on Feb. 20-21. Dr. Jeffery Bergman, a pediatrician at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, and Dr. Pauline Boss, author of several books on theory of ambiguous loss, will share their research experiences with OSU-Tulsa and OSU-CHS students, faculty and staff during the two-day event.
Bergman, a pediatric hospitalist at Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, Fla., will present on Thursday, Feb. 20 at noon in Dunlap Auditorium at OSU-CHS. Boss, a leading educator and researcher best known for developing the theory of ambiguous loss, will present on Friday, Feb. 21 at noon in the OSU-Tulsa Auditorium. A special speakers’ reception with Bergman and Boss is set for Feb. 20 at 5 p.m. at Baxter’s Interurban Grill.
Students and faculty still have time to submit oral and poster abstracts to the Office of Research. The deadline to submit is Friday, Feb. 7. The deadline for poster print requests is Wednesday, Feb. 5.
