Oklahoma State University-Tulsa dedicated its new Donor Wall on Wednesday in recognition of benefactors who contribute to university efforts to provide educational opportunities for Tulsa-area residents.

Located in the OSU-Tulsa Conference Center lobby, 53 glass panels inscribed with the names of notable donors are placed on the wall. Scattered among the inscriptions of civic leaders, businesses and community foundations are touches of America’s Brightest Orange.

The OSU-Tulsa Donor Wall was created to show appreciation to donors whose financial contributions to the OSU Foundation support scholarships, endowments and faculty professorships, OSU-Tulsa President Howard Barnett said.

“OSU-Tulsa is fortunate to have supporters who are committed to higher education for Oklahoma students, particularly amid reduced funding from the state” he said. “Their gifts help provide more students the opportunity to earn a nationally known OSU degree while staying in Tulsa.”

Since 2006, donors have provided nearly $3 million to fund student scholarships for nearly 2,500 OSU-Tulsa students.
